Randy Ray is a publicist and author who has co-written 10 books and contributed to seven others. He was a reporter with The London Free Press for 13 years, including three years as the newspaper’s Parliament Hill Bureau Chief.  The father of three sons, he is a record collector, wannabe drummer, avid cottager. He lives in Ottawa with his dog Cooper.

In his ostensible retirement, he has taken up work as a publicist, providing his expertise for businesses, charities and authors, writing books, speech writing, and arranging bookings for professional speakers.

He is also co-editor, with Ken Pole and Peter Menyasz of the Ottawa-based nationally distributed monthly environment newsletter, Environment Policy & Law, which launched in 1990.
