The BumblePuppy Press is an Ottawa-based publisher of fiction, poetry and, soon, memoir.
Beginning with Carl Dow’s short story collection, The Old Man’s Last Sauna, which was followed by his novel, Black Grass, BPPress branched into the worlds of science fiction and fantasy with Rachel A. Rosen’s novel, Cascade, and Zilla Novikov’s Reprise. The latter two novels are (very) loosely connected as part of the Night Beats Extended Universe.
In 2024, we published Skipping Stones, our first venture into poetry, and will be publishing Jules’ Paivio’s memoir, Life Is Good, and our first children’s book, The Woke Winnie-the-Pooh (edited, and with an introduction and notes, by Geoffrey Dow), later in the year.
